Looking for the best places to have your micro wedding in DC? Here are some of my favorites.
This spot is one of my all-time faves, because it has a little bit of everything, and the options are unlimited! The courtyards in the West building have lovely natural light as well as plenty of greenery, making them an optimal choice for a small pop-up ceremony or elopement. Getting there right as they open at 10am is the best idea.

See some more reasons why I love the NGA for micro weddings, elopements, and engagement photos.
The DC War Memorial is kind of like having your own private, mini Jefferson Memorial! You can reserve it for a reasonable fee, and it’s a covered space that is beautiful in rain or shine, at any time of day. Plus, the columns are classic and timeless for a true “DC” feel.

This is one of the hidden gems of the city, in my opinion. Bishop’s garden has something blooming in every season, and the winding paths and stone gazebo and archways will make you feel like you’re in your own personal secret garden.

I’ve photographed a few elopements at the Woodrow Wilson House, and I’m never disappointed! The rooms are unique, and the natural light unparalleled, making it one of the best locations for a micro wedding in DC.

If you’re looking the quintessential DC location, Constitution Gardens never disappoints. You’ve got a great view of the Washington Monument, and plenty of other iconic memorials within a quick walking distance. And if you’re lucky, you might even get photobombed by some local ducks!

Make it personal! What could be more special than having a celebration with your favorite people at your favorite spot? At the end of the day, the best locations for a DC micro wedding are always the places that hold the most meaning for you. (Maydan, featured first, and Limani, featured second, are great choices!)
