There was a Robert Fulghum quote read in a toast at David and Josh’s wedding that I feel like sums up these two wonderful souls perfectly:

“We are all a little weird and life’s a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall into mutually satisfying weirdness – and call it love – true love.”

Midway through doing these portraits we heard a fire alarm, and then, tons of sirens. Then we realized the fire trucks were turning into the venue. All was well and it ended up being a false alarm in the kitchen, but it added a little excitement to the day for the guests, who were stoked about being able to carry their drinks outside and meet the firemen. Haha. My assistant Rachel snagged these photos as I finished up portraits with Josh and David.
