We did Paola and James’ photos the morning of Veterans Day, and I have to say, it was a neat experience to be downtown DC hanging out at the monuments on this particular day. We started early enough that we didn’t have TOO many tourists to contend with, but even still it felt way more energetic than a normal day at 7am. Paola and James brought along their pup Doku (I am probably butchering the spelling, sorry guys) and Paola’s sister as a dog wrangler. My favorite part was getting to shoot photos at the Air Force Memorial, which I’ve been to once, but never for portraits. So cool! This memorial is special to James and Paola not only because James is in the Air Force, but also because it’s the place where they got engaged!

Such great use of all the architecture and gorgeous views. And the plane….you seriously managed to get a plane flying. That’s awesome!
