It’s like raaa-eee-aaain on your wedding day… When the clouds got darker and it started pouring the afternoon of Kristen and Tim’s wedding, Kristen and her bridesmaids stayed totally calm, smiled through it all, and sang along to “Ironic” by Alanis Morisette. I think there could have been a tornado outside and Kristen would have just kept smiling. It was like the rain didn’t matter. And really, it didn’t. She was still marrying Tim regardless, and that was the most important thing. I loved her positive attitude, even as I was frantically coming up with Plan B’s and C’s in my head for where we could do indoor pictures. As it turned out, the rain let up for a sweet little 20 minute window and we were able to cross all the must-have photos off our list! Rain or no rain, this was one of the most stress-free weddings I’ve ever been to, and as a result, an incredible party! Other notable moments include Kristen busting out an awesome (and unexpected) choreographed dance with her father, and plenty of people being raised in chairs at the reception (without Hava Nagila being played!) So fun. I also managed to grab what I think is my new most-favorite ring shot – I love it! Thanks also to Serena of Love by Serena for second shooting this one with me!
