From start to finish, Danielle and Adam’s wedding was so authentically them. They told me at our initial meeting that they didn’t really care about the getting ready photos or detail photos – they just wanted a few nice portraits and pictures of people having a good time. So that’s exactly what we did. I think it should be a reminder for all couples out there to do what you want at your wedding. It’s your wedding! And photographers, let’s not forget we have a responsibility to shoot what the clients want. Who am I to talk people into pictures they don’t care about? Let’s focus on the moments, the relationships, the fun and the love.
If you want to wear magenta shoes and walk yourself down the aisle, go for it. Be quirky, make those silly faces if that’s your thing, and above all, just be you.

YES! Their priorities are in the right place. I love this. It’s not about the wedding bullshit – it’s about the people and connection. Love it. You did a beautiful job capturing this day!
