When Ashley told me she and Chris were getting married in their front yard, I didn’t really know what to expect. Especially after she mentioned they had over 200 guests attending. But when I showed up the day of the wedding and actually saw the property, I was blown away. It was so beautifully staged with tons of vintage couches and chairs, mirrored glass, antique candlesticks, china, old books, etc., etc., etc…. WOW! It became the perfect setting for this gorgeous wedding. The reception was held right around the corner at Kurtz’s Beach (Chris’ dad owns the place) and that looked incredible as well!
Side note: Ashley’s sisters told a funny story during their toast about going into Chris’ house for the first time and wondering why he had a life-size cutout of himself in a baseball uniform before realizing it was actually Derek Jeter. Which in turn made me realize how much Chris really does look like Derek Jeter! Too funny!
