Allegra & Mike – Lincoln’s Cottage Washington DC Wedding
First of all, how cool is it that I actually got to shoot at the cottage where President Lincoln spent so much time during his presidency? If you’ve never been to check it out, you should definitely do so!
Secondly, Mike and Allegra! How awesome are these two? They met at Hamilton (the college, not the musical… don’t worry, I was momentarily confused too) and have travelled all over the world together. I was particularly touched by Mike’s vows, where he promised to make every day an adventure, even just when they are doing normal things. It was a good reminder to me that yeah, all the fun adventures that happen 8,000 miles away are very exciting, but some of the best adventures in life are the ones we have at home.

These are literally the best wedding photos I have ever seen! They take even what could be “ordinary” group shots and make them special and perfect for this couple’s personality. The wedding was AWESOME, and the photos of it are AMAZING. Emily, I am giving your name to others!
