The Whittemore House is one of those buildings I walk by in Dupont all the time but had no real clue what it was all about until this wedding. During the week it’s home to a political social club and on the weekends it turns into a pretty neat wedding venue! I really get some awesome clients, and Morgan and Rob are no exception. They were so fun to be with the whole day. My favorite moment was during the reception when I stepped out to do some ring shots, and they came and sat down in the same room and ate cake. It doesn’t sound like much, but let me tell you how few brides and grooms I see actually sitting down and enjoying a piece of cake: zero. They chatted with each other, they chatted with me, and they took a moment to breathe and step back and spend five minutes together. And I thought it was really cool.

So timeless and so perfect! Beautiful wedding!!
Ah! These two were just the sweetest! I’m so excited to see them on your blog today. You totally captured all of the live and joy from their wedding day!
This wedding is perfect, Emily!! I love their portraits and the getting ready photos on both side are awesome and creative!
The bridal getting ready photos are stunning! And you rocked the portraits considering you had to do them after the sun was going down….they’re gorgeous! And yeah, I love hearing that they sat and enjoyed a piece of cake together….you never see that!
I love all of these, Em! This Whittemore House wedding is perfection. Knowing how small that ceremony space is, you really rocked those photos and I love all the backlit portraits! Gorgeous!
The reception lighting is amazing! Such a gorgeous wedding!
