Jaci and Josh and I all went to college together! I say this with an exclamation point because it is pretty unusual for me to know anyone in this area who went to my tiny little Abilene Christian University in Texas. (Okay, it’s not that tiny, but still…) I didn’t know Josh too well, but Jaci and I were in the journalism program together, and we shared some classes and school newspaper time. Jaci reached out to me recently to see if I’d be interested in doing an updated family portrait for them (they’ve been married five years) and I was thrilled because I hadn’t even realized they were close by! So we did more of a lifestyle shoot where I came to their house and petted their adorable golden doodle Clementine and we tried to recreate some of the things they enjoy doing together – drinking coffee, hanging out on the couch, and going for walks in their neighborhood. It was so fun to see these guys and I hope it’s not another decade before we do it again! Haha.
