I’m pretty sure Emily and Kyle are two of the cutest humans on the planet. Rarely do I get to witness couples with 10+ years together, and even rarer still are the couples who are 100% still in love after that time. But I found it in Emily and Kyle!
Their Glen Echo Park wedding was a fall dream, in spite of a few minor hiccups… there was a whole moon and stars theme and then it stayed cloudy the entire day… the “Cuddle Up” neon broke that morning so it wasn’t lit up at all… and the carousel was fully under construction…. but WHATEVER, everything was perfect anyway.
Keeping with the vintage amusement park feel, they opted for a Good Humor cart with popsicles and ice cream treats instead of a cake. And speaking of unconventional, we switched up the first look to make that a little more unique too. Instead of Emily walking up behind Kyle, they stood in the doorway of the Crystal Pool entrance and simply peeked around at each other. To which Kyle’s reaction was (almost verbatim), “How did I score THIS?!”
We finished off the evening with a bunch of colorful night shots, and I went home grinning from ear to ear. Thanks to Jon from The Documentist for shooting this one with me!
