Katelyn and Jonathan live in Kentucky, but since it seemed unlikely that I’d get out there before their wedding in July, they met me in Linville, VA, for their engagement shoot. Which worked out really well, except none of us had planned for such a blustery, windy day. Like hurricane force winds, people. But we really lucked out with having an awesome barn to shoot in. It was May, but it felt more like March, so needless to say, we spent most of the time inside said awesome barn.
Katelyn grew up on a farm, and she’s the type of girl who will shrug and laugh when she steps in a fresh green cow patty with her bare toes. I know because it happened (see photo.) And Jonathan is the type of guy who will willingly clean it off her sandal. Yup, loved this couple.
